Xiaomi already has the fastest wireless charging on a shipping phone; the Mi 10 Ultra has 50W wireless technology that can fully charge its 4,500mAh battery in 40 minutes. As per the official statement, the new 80W wireless charger can fully charge a 4,000mAh battery-touting device in 19 minutes. When charged with a 30W wireless charger, Xiaomi claims that a phone with a similar battery capacity will take 25 minutes for a 50% charge and 69 minutes for a full charge.

Clearly, Xiaomi appears to be putting its faith in wireless charging and has deemed it to be the future of charging technology. It came up with the support for wireless charging in the Mi Mix 2S, which supports only the 7.5W fast charging technology. And, the Mi Mix 3 was launched with 10W fast charging support and it bumped up to 20W in the yesteryear model, the Mi 9.

Xiaomi proudly made this to the general public that it has efficiently achieved the quickest wi-fi charging pace by way of new expertise.

What makes this technology even more impressive is the fact that it is faster than other fast charging wired systems out there today, such as the OnePlus 8T's new 65W Warp Charge that's supposed to be one of the fastest commercially available charging systems in the market today. It shared a posted that has 80W wireless charging tech mentioned on it. The company says wireless charging will soon replace wired charging.
