During the 37th match of the ongoing 13th season of the Indian Premier League between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals in Abu Dhabi, Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni misjudged a double run to lose his wicket in a crucial situation.

Chasing CSK's 125 for five wickets in 20 overs, RR finished at 126 for three wickets in 17.3 overs.

Three early wickets, including that of Ben Stokes (19 off 11), gave Chennai hope but Buttler and Smith squashed that as Royals moved from bottom to fifth and just two points behind Kolkata Knight Riders.

"You spoke about it and that's how I got to know", CSK skipper Dhoni said at toss.

Smith went on to notch the winning run but very much played second fiddle to Buttler, who struck seven fours and two of the game's three sixes. In the end, both batsmen took Royals over the line by seven wickets and 15 balls to spare. Ravindra Jadeja top-scored for Chennai as he played an unbeaten knock of 35 runs. Pacer Karthik Tyagi provided the second breakthrough for his side as he scalped Watson (8) in the fourth over. However, Rajasthan once again made a come back as the side scalped wickets of Curran (22) and Rayudu (13), reducing CSK to 56/4 in the 10th over. The CSK skipper fell short of his crease and was run out in the 18th over.

Jofra Archer (1/20) was terrific with the new ball but he would be disappointed with his outing on the field.

Besides Archer, the spin duo of Shreyas Gopal (1/14) and Rahul Tewatia (1/18) were economical in the middle overs, while young Kartik Tyagi (1/35) too was impressive.
