As reported by Stevivor, fans spotted video adverts for Oculus Quest 2 hardware that auto-play during certain National Basketball Association 2K21 loading sequences, as a part of "2K TV" cinematic presentations.

2K have made a decision to add unskippable adverts to National Basketball Association 2K21's pre-game loading screens across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Unfortunately, this sort of thing - the addition of money-earning features like unskippable ads after a game's release - is becoming increasingly common. It should be noted that Stevivor, who has given birth to this information, explains that they encounter the same situation on PC, although in that case they have not recorded it.

"I'd honestly take it a lot better if it was something like cyberpunk or the next gta but this game is awful about milking every dime out of the consumer", another commented. Tweet below, You will see how Oculus Quest 2 PS4 users were advertised before a two-pointer dunk.

The second comment refers to the various microtransactions within 2K21, among other sports games, where consumers have to spend real money to get currency for items or upgrades in the games.
