The US presidential election is scheduled for November 3, with Trump, Republican candidate, contesting against Joe Biden, former vice-president of the country and Democratic candidate.

"The swamp, social media, mainstream media, they want Biden to win, even though it's likely that Biden is probably the most compromised person in the history of American politics", Trump Jr., the eldest of President Trump's children, told "Sunday Morning Futures". He has claimed that he was contacted by a legal representative of Hunter Biden, (Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden's son), in an effort to hide professional information connected to an ongoing Federal Bureau of Investigation probe.

The cold open then moved towards NBC's coverage of Donald Trump's town hall where Kate McKinnon's Savannah Guthrie addressed the viewers disgruntled with the network for giving the president a platform.

Biden's reply: "You bet your short trousers I am!" The topics lampooned by the sketch included Trump's relationship to white supremacy ("I've always more or less condemned it"), QAnon ("If anyone's against pedophiles, it's me, the man who was close personal friends with one of the most famous pedophiles on earth - rest in power, Jeffrey"), and the Ku Klux Klan ("Your auto breaks down, you call Triple-K"). Toward the end of the sketch, Maya Rudolph reprised her performance as Kamala Harris.
