The PlayStation 5 is right around the corner now, and with it, the next generation of consoles is coming.

The new development comes a month after Sony announced the pricing details of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition in global markets including the U.S., the United Kingdom, and Australia.

Users have been expressing concern about a notification that party voice chats on PlayStation 5 may be recorded. The Sony PlayStation 5 Digital Edition has been announced at Rs 39,990.

Sony, however, has not yet provided any concrete details about the India launch of the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. So far, the company already revealed its pricing and strategy for many markets where the new console will land, but for some reason, left India without consistent info about the new console. The manufacturer will also not use continuous voice recording - the option will only be used to combat harassment and insults. In comparison, the United States pricing of the PlayStation 5 is set at $499.99 (roughly Rs. 36,700) and the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition at $399.99 (roughly Rs. 29,400). The new DualSense Wireless Controller as been announced at Rs 5,990, HD Camera at Rs 5,190, The PULSE 3D Wireless Headset at Rs 8,590, Media Remote at Rs 2,590, and the DualSense Charging Station also at Rs 2,590. The standalone DualSense wireless controller will sell for Rs 5,990. Despite the lower price, worth noting that the Xbox Series S does not bring the same hardware as its big brother and isn't on par with any of the two PS5 versions. Availability in each country is subject to, amongst other things, local import regulations, and our local teams are working through the logistics. Over the next few days, we will release more PS5 consoles for preorder - retailers will share more details. For reference, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition are initially coming to Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea Mexico, New Zealand, and the United States on November 15. Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales for instance will cost Rs 3,999 while Demon's Souls will be available for Rs 4,999.
