Samsung introduced One UI 2.5 with the launch of Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra. Samsung Galaxy A51 units with the model number SM-A515F are getting the One UI 2.5 update with the firmware version A515FXXU4CTJ1. The update was only confirmed for the company's flagship smartphone series like Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, and Galaxy Z. But surprisingly, the South Korean tech giant began to roll it for Galaxy A71 a few days now. Users in this region must check for the update in Settings Software update menu if they haven't received a notification yet.

Once you've updated your phone, you will be able to run DeX wirelessly on any TV that supports screen mirroring and use the phone's display as a touchpad. The Android 10-based One UI 2.5 is now available in limited to Germany and details about its India availability are expected soon. The Samsung Keyboard has been updated with a new YouTube search feature, while the Messages app now lets you send SOS messages to one of your contacts every 30 minutes for 24 hours. The Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy S9 phones are unlikely to receive the next One UI iteration based on Android 11. The new OTA update for the handset also bumps up the security patch level to October 2020. SamMobile says that this update has started rolling out for Russian Federation users since yesterday, and it should be a while before all users in the region see it.
