The phone is available to pre-order now but officially goes on sale on Tuesday, 20 October in the United Kingdom and Europe and Friday, 23 October in the US. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, clubbed with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

Two variants of OnePlus 8T have been launched. OnePlus often uses the similar design language and technology to its sister company, Oppo, which could mean we'll get an Apple Watch lookalike. It ships with Android 10 based OxygenOS 10.5; however, will soon receive Android 11 based OxygenOS 11 update.

The high-power US spec is available in Luna Silver and Aquamarine Green.

The brand new system is a decrease priced mannequin than present gadgets by the model and options quick charging and improved display screen show and multi-functional cameras.

The camera hardware has also received an upgrade with the addition of a monochrome lens. The main snapper can record 4K videos at up to 60fps and slo-mo 720p videos at up to 480fps.

There is also a 16MP camera on the front. Additionally, there is a 5MP macro camera which is not so good like other dedicated macro cameras and a 2MP depth sensor that helps with focus and portrait mode effects but most probably, it has been added to boost the count of sensors. It works by essentially splitting the 4,500-mAh battery up into two halves that are charged separately, and it promises to end the usual reliance on overnight charging. More importantly, OnePlus is also bringing Nightscape mode to video capture as well.

Coming to the connectivity, the OnePlus 8T packs a dual-band Wi-Fi, 5G, 4G connectivity, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port, GPS, and Glonass. However, the key attraction here is the 65W Warp charge tech. On one full charge, the OnePlus Buds Z is claimed to provide 20 hours of playback time.

The smartphone will be available for early access at 12 am on October 16 for Amazon Prime members on and OnePlus Red Cable Club members on and OnePlus Store app. However, the 8T features the same Snapdragon 865 as the OnePlus 8 did six months ago.

The new "Gray Ash" special edition of the OnePlus Nord is available only in 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage.
