Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro with 144Hz display launched in India

After growing its India presence in the budget segment with the Redmi brand over the past couple of years, Xiaomi finally made a decision to re-enter the flagship market with the Mi 10 earlier this year. Software inside the phones is Android 10-based MIUI 12 and both of them are 5G-ready. Xiaomi is yet to reveal the shipping date for the Mi 10T series as of now. The announcement comes just a day after OnePlus announced the OnePlus 8T 5G. Both phones will be up for pre-order starting October 15, 11:59 PM IST.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro flaunts a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with 144Hz refresh rate. What're your thoughts? Do let us know via the comments section below. The Mi 10T Pro with 8GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 39,999 and the 6GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 35,999. The Mi 10T Pro, on the other hand, is priced at Rs39,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant.

The phones come in Cosmic Black color that offers Ceramic finish and in a Lunar Silver color option also that offers Matte frost finish.

Xiaomi 10T and 10T Pro aren't much different in specifications. Xiaomi is promising up to 20 hours of playback time, including the charge in the case.

In terms of camera, Mi 10T Pro will sport a triple rear camera setup that houses a 108 MP primary camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5 MP macro lens. Going by the screenshot, the Mi 10T will be retailing at Rs. 44,999 in India. The Mi 10T Pro also has OIS for the primary camera which the Mi 10T lacks.

Well, the only difference between the Mi 10T & Mi 10T Pro is the primary rear camera sensor & except for that, both phones have the same display, chipset, battery, front camera, charging speed, & the design. These phones come with a 144Hz refresh rate 144Hz refresh rate display featuring an Adaptive sync variable refresh rate.

It is a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ panel with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification.

With the display of the smartphone, Xiaomi takes an unorthodox approach by bringing a 144Hz LCD display in a price segment populated with smartphones sporting AMOLED displays.

Both the phones are using a Snapdragon 865 chip that's now the fastest one in business. If the leaked pricing of the Mi 10T Pro is true, then it is priced slightly on the higher side. The devices will pack the Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. For charging, the Mi 10T series supports 33W wired charging with "Dual Split charging" that allows the batteries to be charged almost twice as fast as the Mi 10.
