The Wales global joins up with the north London outfit on a contract through 2025 and will wear the No.14 shirt with the club.

According to WalesOnline, Tottenham have agreed to pay the Swans an initial transfer fee of £11 million plus £4 million in add-ons to secure the services of Rodon.

Rodon is a very young centre-back, but the Wales global has already established himself in the Swansea first team.

Jose Mourinho has been keen to bring in another centre-back, but the Premier League side could get no deal over the line during the global transfer window.

Rondon joins Wales compatriots Ben Davies and Gareth Bale in North London, with the latter set to make his second debut for the club this weekend.

That trio was followed in by Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon, whilst Spurs also found much-needed competition and cover for Harry Kane after signing Brazilian forward Carlos Vinicius on a season-long loan deal from Benfica.

"I can only praise the board for what they did for the team and I can see in the players that feeling I love that they are happy but anxious".

"In such a hard period where I always believed we were not able to reach some of the targets, the club did an incredible effort".
