South Park often tackles current events, so of course the pandemic is front and center in South Park: The Pandemic Special, the show's first hour-long special, airing tonight, September 30, at 8 p.m. ET on Comedy Central, and it will also be available to stream on FuboTV, Philo and Sling.

The "South Park" pandemic special will premiere 8 p.m. ET/PT Wednesday, Sept. 30 on Comedy Central, and, for the first time, on both MTV and MTV 2.

News of the special episode first broke on September 15.

"The Pandemic Special" will be the first one-hour episode and the first special episode of "South Park" in the show's long history.

We follow the residents of Park County as they face the challenges of the pandemic, and head back to school with the gang as they face the new normal.

"South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone recently provided a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the special, which was produced remotely. The series has since won an Emmy as well as Peabody award. There have been 23 seasons and 307 episodes. Five of these providers allow you to watch "The Pandemic Special" live on Comedy Central using iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, Chromecast and Web.
