Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Dreams’ triples in sales after TikTok video goes viral

If you're online every day, chances are you've seen that viral TikTok of that dude who is skateboarding down a highway while vibing to Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams".

Nathan Apodaca, the guy who went viral after posting video of him drinking juice and vibing to Fleetwood Mac on his skateboard, is feeling blessed. he says the donations pouring in are gonna help him upgrade his busted auto and RV.

Captioned "Morning vibe", the seconds-long clip now sits at 3.4 million views on TikTok after being posted only five days ago.

In the three days following the video's posting on September 25, "Dreams" has racked up 2.9 million on-demand United States streams and 3,000 digital download sales, which is an increase of 88.7 per cent and 374 per cent, respectively.

Nathan also tells us Footlocker contacted him - he's just hoping for some free clothes - but he really wants to hear from Fleetwood Mac and Ocean Spray. for a potential commercial! Having made use of arguably youthful platforms, 15 percent of the song's streams over the weekend were from first-time listeners, bumping the track up to the 29th spot on Rolling Stone's Top 100.

The video also prompted a spike in streams and sales of the featured song.

"Dreams" has become a classic rock staple on TikTok in recent years. The decades-old song is now sitting at number 80 on Spotify's global streaming charts, and it appears, in part, to be thanks to a TikTok video that has gone viral.
