Rebekah Vardy has been announced for Dancing On Ice 2021 alongside our very own Sonny Jay, as she attempts to clear her name following the "Wagatha Christie" scandal involving herself and Coleen Rooney which is set to be battled out at the High Court.

Announcing on today's Good Morning Britain Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid that she has joined the Dancing On Ice 2021 line-up, Rebekah revealed she will do, when pressed on the case, "whatever it takes to clear her name".

"I will do whatever it takes, and I hope it's going to be resolved soon".

And when asked what her husband Jamie thought of her taking part, she added, "He thought it was such a brilliant idea". I will do whatever that takes.

"It's just one of the things that has to go through the process unfortunately now".

She said: 'To be fair Piers, in comparison to what some people have gone through with Covid and things like that, it's incomparable.

The wife of Wayne Rooney revealed how she planted fake stories on her private Instagram in a bid to figure out which of her followers had "sold" previous posts to the tabloid.

Vardy is no stranger to reality TV, having appeared on I'm A Celebrity...

Whether she did or didn't sell the stories, I don't know and I'm no position to speculate.

The brunette explained: 'I'm really looking forward to getting my teeth into that and get going with it. I'm going to give 100 per cent effort throughout.

The mum-of-five issued court proceedings against Coleen, 34, for defamation, after she accused Rebekah's Instagram account of leaking false stories to the press. According to The Mirror, Rebekah is seeking substantial damages and a subsequent libel trial will begin in November, and she hired a cybersecurity expert to prove her innocence.

On ITV there will be dancing on Ice return in January 2021. I think with sport in itself you've certainly got a bit of balance and that will be transferable in this circumstance.

Jason says: 'To be able to learn a skill and spend some time focused is quite exciting, and I'm looking forward to seeing you guys'.

"Literally I don't know what I've got myself in for. It's a new challenge, I've never done anything like it before, so super excited".

Piers then chipped in saying: "Well you are good at skating on thin ice, aren't you?" It's the biggest secret I've kept in my life!

He said, "Ice I can deal with, it's the dancing and performing in front of millions of people that scares me".
