Motorola revealed the new foldable Razr 5G will be available in the US on October 2 for $1,199, which is a $200 discount on the regular retail price. Motorola confirmed today that its revamped foldable will go on sale on October 2nd - you'll be able to pick one up from Best Buy, B&H, Amazon, and Motorola for $1,200 instead of the usual $1,400 for a while, or from carrier partners AT&T and T-Mobile. Then again, Motorola has always been clear that the Razr is more premium than powerful, and that it shouldn't be held to the same demanding, flagship standards that similarly priced devices are.

Get the Motorola razr for half off with 24 monthly bill credits when you activate a new line and trade-in an eligible device.

Meanwhile, new AT&T customers are looking at "up to" a $700 price cut of their own with a number port-in, device trade-in, and a "qualifying" installment plan purchase on an "eligible" unlimited wireless option.

The new Motorola Razr features a foldable 6.2-inch 2142×876 OLED display plus a 2.7-inch 800×600 OLED outer screen that you can use to check notifications and use apps like Messages, Calculator, Spotify, and Pandora.

To recap, this new Razr has several upgrades over the original, namely in the processor (Snapdragon 765), connectivity (5G), RAM and storage (8GB + 256GB), and camera. The foldable is compatible with T-Mobile's 600MHz and 2.5GHz 5G coverage. You'll find unlocked models at Motorola's store, Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo.
