Bollywood actor Payal Ghosh, who has appeared in projects like "Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi" and another television daily soap "Saath Nibhaana Saathiya", has accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap sexual harassment. However, Anurag Kashyap dismissed the allegations in a series of tweets and described them as "an attempt to silence" him. No problem. In an attempt to silence me, you said too much dragging other women in it, being a woman yourself. Please stick to the limits, Madame. "Whether it was my first wife or the second, or any other lover, or the many actresses I have worked with, or that team of girls and women who has always been working with me, or the many women who I met in private or in public".

Ghosh alleged that Kashyap abused her and forced himself onto her against her will.

He further added, "While accusing me, dragging my actors (Taapsee Pannu) and Bachchan family is next level".

Soon after Ghosh's allegation, Kashyap took to Twitter in defence.

In conclusion, Anurag wrote, "Your video (Payal's) itself is proof of how much is true, rest assured I send you my prayers and love. Apologies for answering your English with my hindi". Narendra Modi ji, kindly take action and let the country see the demon behind this creative guy. I am aware that it can harm me and my security is at risk. Anurag asked Kangana to fight war with China, after which she asked him to join Olympics, later asking when did he become stupid, claiming the filmmaker was clever when the two were friends.
