Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium Model Global Rollout Begins September 18

The Galaxy Watch 3 will now come as a titanium version that costs $600. Do you refuse to wear peasantly materials such as stainless steel?

The Watch3 Titanium has a few differences from the regular Watch3.

The Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium weighs 43g - almost 10g less than the stainless steel model - and it is waterproof up to 5ATM, IP68 water and dust resistant and it has MIL-STD-810G. That reduces the weight from 53.8g on the standard 45mm stainless steel model to 43g, which is actually a pretty impressive weight savings. Also, in the box you get a metal band that is supposedly easy to adjust (see above).

Specifications are the same as the standard Galaxy Watch 3 with a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED colour display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass DX, the Exynos 9110 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. All the sensors are retained as well.

That's obviously a lot more than the starting price of a Bluetooth-only 41mm Galaxy Watch 3 in the region, and the same goes for Germany, where the "Titan" variant is to be made available on September 18 as well at €633, or around $750. Tipping the scales at a measly 43 grams (said strap not included), the luxury timepiece will be up for grabs exclusively in a 45mm case size and Mystic Black color with no LTE support.
