Siri is smarter in iOS 14 and can send audio messages, and dictation can now run on device.

Apple said it will also release its upcoming iPadOS 14, watchOS 14 and tvOS 14 on September 16.

App sorting: A new App Library will sort apps into various categories automatically. A Picture in Picture mode allows users to watch videos or use FaceTime while using other apps.

Quick-loading apps: App Clips is a new feature Apple is introducing with the iOS 14.

Apple's watchOS 7 brings handwashing detection, dance workouts, and sleep tracking features to the Apple Watch.

Digital Car Keys let an iPhone be used in lieu of a physical key, a feature that's coming soon to BMWs, and CarPlay now lets users set wallpapers. Developers need to get user permission before accessing devices on a local network, limiting access to photos, and providing apps with approximate locations instead of exact locations. On tvOS 14, look for multi-user support for games, new controller support, picture-in-picture, and more. It also comes with new Maps features, including adding cycling as a transportation option, and routing for electric vehicle owners so they can find charging points along the way. The US technology firm made the big announcement during its recent September keynote event, which also saw the arrival of a new Apple Watch Series 6, low-priced Apple Watch SE, and completely-redesigned iPad Air.

iOS 14, Apple's latest version of its iPhone software, was premiered during the company's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) in June 2020.

These useful widgets aren't the only new feature with iOS 14 also including improved messaging, more customisable Memojis and something called the App Library.
