"Today, we're going to be sharing what's left of our house". 15 years of memories; 40 years of notebooks, drawing, thoughts, my life's work.

"A person was going through our backyard on an ATV and was kind enough to come down the hill and say, 'Your roof's on fire.' Literally screaming it in our backyard", Ray said.

"We ran outside and sure enough, it was (on fire)". It was blood-curdling and chilling from head to toe.

"By the time I had gone upstairs to determine what we could save, I could hear the fire crackling through the walls and spreading through the building".

"I can't tell you how important it is to listen to your first responders".

Speaking during an appearance on "Good Morning America", she said: "We feel so much stronger and together with our viewers because we've been able to share all of these really personal experiences and these huge arcs in our lives and we feel a part of things even though we're so far away". "... Lost my phone (posting through a team member) Thank you for all the best wishes, worries and communication, but I can not answer text messages and calls at the moment ...! We left our house".

Rai is probably best known for hosting a variety of cooking shows, including30 minutes mealsOn the Food Network, as well as its joint talk show, Rachael Ray.

"The night that the fire happened, we literally were just watching our house burn and burn and burn". It wouldn't stop. You're just thinking, 'Oh God, what's going to be left?' Then we went up there the next day... and there's devastation everywhere.

Ray frequently showed off her dream home and its incredible kitchen. The home will need to be bulldozed and rebuilt over the course of about a year.

Currently, Rachael and her household are remaining in their visitor house throughout the street while their house is restored throughout the next year.
