The 51-year-old actor filmed a public service announcement at the behest of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo as part of the "Mask Up, America" campaign.

The clip finishes with a cameo from "Hot Ones" host Sean Evans in which he and Rudd attempt to eat hot wings while wearing masks.

For the first two minutes or so, Rudd riffs on millennials and masks, then dissolves into a rant in which he screams "Just wear a mask". "Apparently, a lot of COVID is transmitted by us millennials". "So slide that into your DMs and Twitch it", he added.

He also calls his Gen Z friend Billie Eilish, pledging to "stan" her for wearing her mask.

"Yo, listen, hype beasts".

Holding a skateboard to his hip, a hat tipped to the side and headphones around his neck, Rudd opened the video by explaining how his "homie" Governor Cuomo was "going off" about millennials not wearing masks, despite being the ones who are often responsible for transmitting the virus. Hundreds of thousands of people are dying and it's preventable. Please. It's not hard, people are dying.

Rudd parodied a TikTok challenge before dropping his persona and telling people to wear masks. "Just wear a mask".

People under 40 are driving the spread of the coronavirus, and despite misinformation from the White House science advisor Dr. Scott Atlas - whose specialty is neuroradiology, not epidemiology - young people can be severely affected by the virus.

Said Cuomo in a statement: "This nation is still battling the COVID-19 pandemic and young people are not immune from it". I shouldn't have to make it fun! College kids coming back from college, they all want to have a party, they all want to drink.
