Zenit have offered Udinese around the sum they are looking to earn from selling De Paul, but the Argentine does not want to move to Russian Federation.

Udinese want £37million for De Paul, which is higher than the Premier League club's valuation but negotiations are ongoing it would seem. Per César Luis Merlo, Leeds have an offer of €25 million on the table while Zenit have offered €35 million.

According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, Leeds view a deal for the former Valencia man impossible to complete given the asking price of the Italian outfit, and that update will definitely break the hearts of the fans after the midfielder's now-deleted tweet from last night.

They have already forked out £40m to sign striker Rodrigo and defender Robin Koch, and could still need to pay £19m for Jean-Kevin Augustin.

The Argentina attacking midfielder, who plays in Italy for Udinese, has been linked with a switch to Elland Road for some time.

They wrote "Apparently he's keen on the move but it now rests with the clubs" to which De Paul replied "Yes" with a fingers crossed emoji.
