County adds 76 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend

Miami County has had 123 total hospitalizations and 48 deaths.

Additionally, there were 88 people released from isolation on Monday, raising that total to 26,065.

The number of ongoing COVID-19 facility outbreaks continues to be five, the data show.

"Things like dry cough and runny eyes and irritation - those can be associated both with smoke and with COVID", she told a news briefing on Monday. The figure may include out-of-state residents who are hospitalized in New Mexico.

"I send my deepest condolences to the families and friends who are grieving the loss of a loved one due to COVID-19", Barbara Ferrer, LA County's director of public health, said in the news release. The number of positive cases in Los Angeles County far exceeds all other counties in the state, with Riverside County coming in second at around 55,000 cases, per state data. This brings the county's deaths to eight related to coronavirus.

The death toll is now at 834 in the county while the total number of COVID-19 cases rose to 22,152. Since June 9, there have been an additional 658 cases reported there, according to the Laurel County Health Department.

As of Monday, the county has administered a total of 150,479 COVID-19 tests, and 120,707 returned negative results.

During a press conference on Monday, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said there were 137 cases reported from Friday to Saturday, 119 from Saturday to Sunday, and 61 from Sunday to Monday.

Between April 6 and May 30, Knox County reported 10 COVID-19 cases with all 10 patients having fully recovered by June 15.

Knox County has had a total of 11 COVID-19 deaths with the most recent death occurring on August 25.
