Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman buried near SC hometown

The late actor was laid to rest near his hometown in SC on September 3.

Chadwick Boseman was buried near his SC hometown six days after he died at his home in Los Angeles, according to a death certificate released on Monday.

Anderson also held a public memorial for Boseman.

The South Carolina native left his mark by playing some of the most iconic Black figures in history, including Jackie Robinson in 42 and James Brown in Get On Up.

Chadwick Boseman who had successfully portrayed the character of Black Panther in the Marvel Universe passed away quietly with his family beside him on 28th August 2020.

The immediate cause was listed as multiple organ failure, with the underlying cause of colon cancer, which his family said previously that he had been diagnosed with four years earlier.

It was further disclosed that the deceased star had gone for a colectomy surgery back in 2016 and later underwent laparoscopic surgery in March this year to remove cancer which had metastasized.

The document lists Boseman's profession as "artist" in the "entertainment" industry.

After the sudden demise of the great actor Chadwick Boseman, who had been suffering from colon cancer and passed away at the age of 42, Marvel Universe has made a decision to replace him with Letitia Wright as Shuri.
