So, for example, if you have already paid for Apple Music for the year, you will not be charged again.

After all, Apple Music has millions of songs in its portfolio, Arcade has hundreds of timewasters, Texture had more than 200 magazines to fold into Apple News, while Apple's take on Netflix is taking shape as a curated list of original shows, movies and TV series. Those who buy a new Apple Watch get it free for three months.

What's in Apple One and when will Apple release the bundles? That costs $14.95, and includes Apple Music, TV+, its Arcade games service, as well as 50GB of iCloud storage.

Finally, the Premium plan is priced at $29.95/month and includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+ and the new Apple Fitness+. The Apple One Premier plan will be available in the U.S., U.K., Canada and Australia, where Apple News Plus is available and Apple Fitness Plus will launch later this year.

The initiative is a major bid by Apple to achieve the same loyalty that Inc. has won with its Prime program, which combines free shipping with video streaming and many other services for an annual or monthly fee.

If you are on the family plan, like it is with all Apple services, those in your family can share access to the services.

The discounts: Apple One Individual is $6 less per month (compared with buying the services separately at standard pricing); the Family plan is an $8 monthly discount, and the Premier plan offers a savings of over $25 per month. There's a Family plan that allows access to the same services but with 200GB of cloud storage, and it can be shared with up to six family members. Unlike Prime, Apple is offering several variations at different prices.

Shortly before the launch of the 2020 5G iPhones, bundling Apple Music, TV+, Arcade and News+ in one neat package will cost much less to subscribe to than the sum of its components. What are the prices of Apple's main subscription services? On its own, Fitness+ will be $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year.

Things get a bit more complicated from there, with various tiers of iCloud storage added onto the final total.

Apple's bundling strategy is created to encourage customers to purchase more services directly from the company, by giving them a price break compared with buying them separately - a time-tested approach long used by cable and telecom companies.
