Although in reality there is an enmity or an old relationship between Selena and Demi Lovato, their ties were broken a long time ago, but she assured that any conflict that exists is only between them and should not matter to third parties.

Last week, a series of screenshots circulated on social media in which the "Cool For The Summer" singer's fiancée, to whom she became engaged in July, jokingly stated that he wanted to marry Lovato's former best friend Gomez.

In an indirect response to the circulating claims against her fiancé, Demi dropped a message on her social media. Demi exploded against the accusations, believing that 2020 has been a hard year and people should focus on more important issues. I challenge any tabloid that dares to type my name to mention Breonna Taylor and the face that her murderers still haven't been arrested. "But then I stop and think...it's hella rude.but damn I get it. And I don't wanna look at what's really happening in the world either but WE HAVE TO", she wrote. "Yes, it's easier to tear apart celebrities and their relationships because 2020 sucks and scares the sh*t out of us all but it's only gonna stay terrifying until we address it all and WORK ON SOLUTIONS TOGETHER", she continued.

For his part, Ehrich has professed his admiration for both Gomez and Lovato in the past, before he had a real connection to either one of them.

Through his Stories, Demi Lovato published several statements to stop malicious rumors, as the account that leaked such information accuses him of being a hunter of famous women. "Re-sharing the throwback post, Lovato wrote: "@maxehrich every Christmas? WRITE ABOUT THAT, ' she wrote.

Selena Gomez is, clearly, a touchy subject for Demi, being that the pair have endured a rocky friendship since rising to fame on Disney Channel in the mid-2000s. "Thank you for your courage and bravery".

'When you grow up with somebody, you're always going to have love for them. "But I'm not friends with her, so it felt ..." She's just like, she's an angel, and I love her, but on top of that, I respect her musically and I want to make music with her.
