Looks like the zombies in this film aren't the only walking dead associated with this movie, because Chris D'Elia's career has become a shambling husk of its former self in the wake of recent sexual harassment accusations against him.

A number of girls, some as young as 16, claimed on social media in June that D'Elia had sent them explicit messages online and tried to solicit nude photos from them.

Zack Snyder's zombie action film Army of the Dead wrapped principal photography previous year, with a cast featuring Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Ana de la Reguera, Garret Dillahunt, Raul Castillo, Omari Hardwick, Hiryouki Sanada, and Matthias Schweighöfer.

The movie had completed shooting and was in post-production before the pandemic hit in March and effectively shut down work on nearly all movies and TV shows in development.

Tig Notaro is pulling a Christopher Plummer.

Snyder wrapped principal photography on the movie a year ago, but THR reports that "the movie will now undergo a quick round of reshoots to incorporate Notaro's role".

Comedian and actor Chris D'Elia was also part of the cast, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, he's being replaced by Tig Notaro. "Due to actors being already dispersed post-filming and due to pandemic restrictions, the incorporation will be a combination of techniques, from actually reshooting scenes opposite an acting partner to using green screen and CG technology to blend her in".

D'Elia has since been dropped by his representation at CAA and several streaming platforms, including Amazon Prime, Hulu and Comedy Central, have now removed the episodes he appeared in. Netflix will release the film at a yet-to-be-announced date.

Along with starring alongside Whitney Cummings in Whitney, D'Elia is also known for his role on the NBC sitcom Undateable, the ABC television series The Good Doctor, and most recently in the Netflix thriller series You. That film underwent $10 million worth of reshoots just one month before its release to erase Spacey and incorporate Plummer into the final cut.
