Mark Wahlberg came in at number 3 with $58 million, which Forbes attributes to his producer credits for McMillions and Wahl Street, along with his role in Netflix's Spenser Confidential.

The actor, who has been part of more than 100 films over the span of 29 years, is the only Bollywood actor on the list.

The publication revealed that the Padman star's earnings came mostly from his product endorsements.

The list, compiled by Forbes magazine, was topped by Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, for the second year running. Kumar has signed a deal worth $ 10 million with Amazon Prime for his first television series, The End.

Now at number five, expect Diesel to appear even higher on next year's list of highest-paid actors after F9 releases in theaters. He tops the list for the second year in a row and third year out of five, per the BBC.

Johnson, one of Hollywood's most bankable stars, even got a boost from Netflix.

Forbes compiled the list based on earnings between 1 June 2019 and 1 June 2020 and is due to release a separate list of the highest-paid female actors for the same period in the coming weeks.

The more surprising names on the rest of the list include Lin-Manuel Miranda, who profited greatly from selling Hamilton to Disney and Jackie Chan, who earned $40 million past year by cranking out five different movies, plus a ton of commercials. Reynolds made bank to the estimated tune of $71.5 Million in 2020. Smith with $44.5 million and Sandler with $41 million have landed themselves at numbers eight and nine respectively on the list.
