Prosser said that Apple could launch the iPhone 12 models during an October 12 event while the pre-orders the following week and shipping would begin from October 19.

That's according to leaker Jon Prosser who says on Twitter that the iPhone maker will host its iPhone event in the week of 12 October. According to him, the iPhone 12 model will be available for pre-order in the same week as the launch.

Prosser goes on to note that these dates are "in the system" now but could change as we near them.

Apple has confirmed that the new 2020 iPhones may not launch in September, the time the Cupertino-headquartered company usually does.

Prosser also laid out dates for the next Apple Watch and iPad releases.

Prosser also said that Apple would make announcements regarding its upcoming iPad and Apple Watch.

Among several other launches that Apple is reportedly planning this year include new iMac, AirPods Studio, HomePod 2 and HomePod Mini. Nonetheless, the rumour of Apple launching two separate events can not be ignored. The mid-tier "iPhone 12" models will be announced in the first phase, while the top-tier "Pro" handsets will be released sometime in November.

Qualcomm, which gave a 5G processor to Apple for the new iPhone, said earlier that "a global flagship phone launch could be postponed" as one of the reasons is the decline in earnings projects for the fourth quarter of the year. But still, we recommend processing this information with a pinch of salt.

But, in accordance to Prosser, the superior-end Apple iphone 12 Professional is not going to be accessible in Oct in any way.

The tech giant is yet to reveal the final launch date of the iPhone 12 series but a new leak coming from YouTuber and leakster John Prosser gives us an idea.

We already knew that new iPhones would arrive later than usual this year.
