Simon Cowell's temporary replacement for America's Got Talent confirmed

The music mogul underwent six hours of surgery at the weekend following a fall from a new electric bike he was testing at his house in Malibu. She will be the new judge of the NBC reality series and join Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara during the first live shows of the season.

She shared: "I've spoken with Lauren, she's been keeping me updated".

"I've not been able to stop thinking about them all".

'We're all devastated but the positive thing is he's in good spirits and Lauren says slowly he's on the mend'.

Because of his accident, Simon will not be on Tuesday and Wednesday's live shows.

Clarkson is no stranger to USA talent shows.

She said: 'We start filming the live shows at the end of the month.

The singer jokingly commented admitted, "I have waited years for this".

When quizzed on the subject, she responded: 'A virtual audience I'm being told, so we will see'.

'He's been walking around already, obviously he has to be careful, which is expected considering surgery was only one day ago.

Simon Cowell will be out of action for the foreseeable future after breaking his back, according to insiders close to the star. Simon Cowell has left anxious fans in fits of laughter through his recent statement.

The Bicycle Association said in a statement,"The BA, on behalf of the United Kingdom cycling industry, would stress that what are usually referred to as e-bikes for sale in United Kingdom cycle shops have nearly nothing in common in technical or safety terms with the electric motorbike which was ridden by Simon Cowell at the time of his accident".
