Mask of Zoro star Antonio Banderas contracts coronavirus

The actor revealed he was spending his 60th birthday in quarantine and said that he was experiencing symptoms of fatigue.

The Mask Of Zoro star revealed his diagnosis in a tweet written in Spanish, saying that he is not suffering from severe symptoms and is only feeling a little more exhausted than normal.

Spanish actor Antonio Banderas announced on Monday that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and was in quarantine. "I would like to add that I am relatively fine, just a bit more exhausted than usual".

The actor added that he would be spending his time in isolation focusing on reading, writing and resting.

The Desperado star also said, "I would like to add that I find myself relatively well, only a bit more exhausted than usual and confident that I will recuperate as soon as possible by following the medical instructions that I hope will help me overcome the infectious process that I am suffering and that has affected so many others around the planet".

Banderas said he planned to "take advantage of this isolation to read, write, rest and continue making plans to begin to give meaning to my 60 years" and sent a virutal "hug to everyone". "A big hug to everyone", Banderas concluded.

"Let it be nothing and get well soon!"
