Her revelation was prompted by a comment from TV star Olivia TuTram Mai, who wrote: "Oh my gosh, you lost a lot of weight".

And Kelly Osbourne looked happy and festive in a Spice World sweatshirt on Saturday, as she was seen stepping out of Los Angeles, California eatery Joan's on Third after grabbing coffee with a male friend.

The new look Kelly Osbourne. She wore her lilac-colored hair in a braided bun and matched it all with a flawless face of make-up to complete the look.

Back in January, Kelly shared that she was going to make self-care a priority in 2020.

"You look like a different person with your weight loss".

"Yes... I'm bragging because I worked hard and it feels good!" she wrote alongside the pic on Instagram. Several other people added the star was "unrecognizable". Kelly posted another snap of herself, but this time wearing long pink and purple pigtail braids. Osbourne accessorized with a pair of hoop earrings.

"You look like a different person with your weight loss much more confident ... handsome!" a fan wrote. Singer Betty Who said Osbourne is looking "so chic my queen".

"Gorgeeeee (sic)", gushed actress Vanessa Hudgens on the same photo.

Her baggy sweatshirt, a nod to the cheesy 1997 film starring the Spice Girls, hid Osbourne's impressive figure, as the star has lost a significant amount of weight in recent years.

In 2012, she chose to become vegan, and it was changing her diet - and increasing her fitness - that appears to be responsible for her latest weight loss.

She's not the first celebrity to get labelled "unrecognisable" after a major weight loss.

"Once I learned how to work out right and eat right, it's one of those things that you just have to commit to a life change rather than being on a diet", she said.

According to Page Six, Kelly's health transformation has been years in the making and is thanks to her decision to go vegan and start hiking regularly in 2012.
