While there wasn't anything announced on the level of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, today's new footage did include a breakdown of how players can choose to begin their journeys, as well as how combat will progress throughout when the game comes to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One later this year. Where you came up in the world affects how you can interact with it through the main game of Cyberpunk 2077. Each option fundamentally changes how the game will begin, with Nomads starting in the dusty outskirts of Night City, for example.

CD PROJEKT RED Gear's first Cyberpunk 2077-themed figure, Trauma Team Elite Response Unit, has also been presented and is now available for pre-order. The studio split the broadcast between three different segments-lifepaths, music, and weapons.

There are three types of guns in the game, Tech weapons like the Tsunami Nekomata sniper rifle which uses electromagnets to power projectiles silently, through walls, like a railgun; Power weapons like shotguns that can ricochet buckshot off walls and around corners; and Smart weapons which can have some amount of target tracking and other cheatworthy upgrades.

Gun modifications can help spice things up if you're getting too bored with what you've got in Cyberpunk 2077; scopes and silencers can be added on top of stat-altering chip mods. Guns, melee, and cyberware weaponry are all demonstrated, highlighting numerous ways players can engage in direct combat during their adventure through the most unsafe city of the dark future.

Finally, "Becoming Samurai" goes behind the scenes to show how Swedish hardcore punk band Refused musically brings the in-game chrome rock legends Samurai to life, and features interviews with band members and insight into the creative process behind the portrayal. With the musical segment came the launch of a new single from the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack, a single from the in-game band SAAMURAI performed by Refused: A Like Supreme.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches November 19 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
