Poco teases new smartphone launch in India to take on OnePlus Nord

OnePlus' affordable smartphone OnePlus Nord is now available for purchase on Amazon India. It will be an open sale.

OnePlus is reportedly working on a new smartphone which has made a rather surprise appearance on Geekbench.

It is priced at Rs 27,999 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and goes up till Rs 29,999 for the high-end 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage variant.

The OnePlus Nord starts at Rs 24,999 for 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage.

While the 8 GB RAM and 12 GB RAM models have been released in India, the 6 GB RAM model will go on sale in September. The OnePlus Nord comes in two colour variants as well - Blue Marble and Gray Onyx.

As for the battery, the smartphone is equipped with a 4,100 mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging tech. The tweet hints that the Poco will soon bring a new smartphone which will be a direct competitor to the latest OnePlus Nord.

The dual-SIM (Nano) OnePlus Nord runs on Android 10-based OxygenOS 10.5.

The OnePlus Nord comes with a 6.4-inch full-HD + Amoled display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and with a Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

This smartphone comes with a 4115 mAh non-removable battery.

In the premium range, the OnePlus 7T Pro that comes with a 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage, is a flawless phone to go with. For selfies, the phone comes with a dual camera setup on the front, comprising a 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor.
