OnePlus smartphones to get 'Always-on Display' feature

OnePlus is known for its incredible devices as the OEM does not compromise on the specs. But the thing that is same in both these series is the OS that is inside the device which is OxygenOS.

OnePlus is also among those OEMs that are known for delivering timely updates.

Previously Pete Lau, OnePlus CEO, has revealed that the company is coming with a AOD feature or the Always On Feature on its OnePlus devices.

The brand-new variation of the OS (based upon Android 11) ought to be offered for all designs from the On ePlus 6 and later on. The news of this update from China also has OnePlus users around other parts of the world excited, who are now looking forward to the facelift version of Oxygen OS 11. The new user assistance feature and other improvements included in the build will likely make their way to the next stable OxygenOS update for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series. However, it is still not clear which old smartphones will be receiving the new update. According to Weibo, the update will be broadcasted live on the official site of Station B, Weibo, Kuan and OnePlus, courtesy the current pandemic situation. It is worth noting that the OnePlus 5 series got their last Android update earlier this year and they are not expected to get updated anymore.
