Madden NFL 21 will feature The Yard | PC

This character is the star of a narrative mode, called "The Yard: Underground", which is available today in the Madden NFL 21 Mobile app. Well, it would appear that EA is shooting for a yearly stand-alone release cycle with the arrival of Madden NFL 21 Mobile Football on the Play Store. New animations lead to momentum-shifting moments, where players can run up the score with extended play combinations.

Much like Sega's Football Manager series, Madden NFL 21 Mobile Football is a management simulation game.

When you step onto the field in The Yard, you compete in 6v6 games with solo, online co-op vs. the CPU, and online head- to-head multiplayeroptions The online head- to-head allows for teams consisting of one, 2, or 3players The Yard features new animations, and a post- launch plan to consist of new gear drops throughout the National Football League season. Players will create an avatar, take them through a progression system earning XP and rewards, and customize their looks and gear in a constantly refreshing "Style Zone". "The Yard is fast, thrilling and most importantly fun". By downloading the Madden NFL 21 app, players will be granted access to "The Yard: Underground". "Players will delve into all new gameplay on mobile and on consoles that will bring to life the backyard football that NFL players and fans grew up loving, where the rules are relaxed, and you can win with attitude", Graddy added. This mobile version features a single-player, story experience with 5v5 gameplay. But all of this is part of a mode that EA is touting to be an experience completely different from the one you will find in competitive or simulation play. Maybe it isn't backyard football, per se, but it likely was/is on the table for the studio. Either way, the whole thing just seems a little suspect. EA Sports also revealed that there will be seamless progression between the mobile game and Madden NFL 21 on consoles all season long. They weren't asking for a backyard, creative, insert PR speak here new mode. EA unveiled something called The Yard: Underground where gamers can participate in fast-paced backyard football games.

In addition, through partnerships with Sony and Microsoft, EA SPORTS will offer Dual Entitlement, creating ways for players who purchase either an Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 to upgrade** their copy of Madden NFL 21 from prior generation Xbox One or PlayStation 4 platforms at no additional cost.
