The 36-year-old Duchess of Cambridge was visiting Baby Basics in the United Kingdom where she admitted she has found it "very emotional" to hear what some families have endured amidst the global health crisis, and said that after speaking to people from the English town of King's Lynn about their struggles with Covid-19, she found herself moved to tears.

"It can get very emotional".

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge followed in the footsteps of Gavin and Stacey when they visited a Welsh seafront now a pilgrimage site for the show's fans.

On Tuesday, Duchess Catherine paid a visit to a Sheffield-based baby bank called Baby Basics, where she helped unpack donations from over 19 British brands and retailers that chipped in to donate 10,000 supplies for the nation's most vulnerable families. "Helping their families through extraordinary times", she said.

Dressed for the beach day in a summery floral frock, Kate paired her sold-out Emilia Wickstead dress (which she's previously worn on multiple occasions) with her go-to summer footwear styles: wedge espadrilles.

Earlier this week, Kate and her husband, Prince William, sent birthday wishes to their sister-in-law, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

She replied saying: "Yes, you did a b*****y s****y joba".

William and Kate toured the haunts of the comedy drama's characters - an arcade and cafe on Barry Island - but the duke confessed to never having seen the popular series.

Kate and William, both 38, also had a laugh playing a game that involved throwing balls at a target. She's also admitted to struggling with teaching her 2-year-old son, Prince Louis, about social distancing.

"Louis doesn't understand social distancing", Middleton said during a recent appearance.
