Emmy victor Amy Schumer and her chef husband of two years, Chris Fischer, have gotten "really good" about having sex at least once a week since welcoming their 15-month-old son Gene David.

'We just keep it going because you have to otherwise you're just like roommates and then it's like weird that you're having sex, ' the 39-year-old comedian tells iHeartRadio's What To Expect podcast airing this Wednesday - according to E!

Amy Schumer took us through her first pregnancy journey on social media, on her comedy tour, and on her new HBO Max series, Expecting Amy.

Amy replied, "No, we make a plan".

Speaking about the six-week recommendation, Schumer said: "And I was hoping it was going to be longer than that because they just like sliced my FUPA open".

Amy Schumer is officially a cool mom. We go like, "Let's have sex tomorrow or Tuesday. We should do that more", but we still just do it once a week'. "Thank you very much".

"Basically, [there's] a 90 percent chance I'll have [hyperemesis] again", she told What to Expect.

Hey, we get it... there's quite a bit to do around the house to keep track of a baby! The study found that only 41 per cent of couples had attempted vaginal sex at six weeks post-partum, increasing to 65 per cent at eight weeks, 78 per cent at 12 weeks and 94 per cent at six months.

Ha! Never shy about just letting it all hang out there, is she?!

Amy Schumer credits having a night nurse with helping her avoid postpartum depression.

During the podcast episode, the actress and Food Network star also looked back on suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum during her pregnancy.

"I'm never going to be pregnant again", Schumer said on the What to Expect podcast on Wednesday.

And despite a hard nine months, Amy is still hopeful that she can expand her family in the future. "I also have really bad endometriosis and adenomyosis. I just never thought about it; it just wasn't part of my dreams or future", Amy said.

"For all of those we got 1 normal embryo from that and 2 low level mosaic (mosaic means there are some abnormal cells but can still lead to a healthy baby) So we feel lucky we got 1!" COVID kind of put everything on hold, but of course we do want more.

"Anyway I am so grateful for our son and that we have the resources to get help in this way".
