In an unexpected collab, The Rolling Stones have dropped a teaser for their latest music video and it features Paul Mescal! So far, we've been privy to a teaser, which sees a dishevelled (potentially inebriated) Mescal clutching a whiskey in a hotel room, seemingly contacting an estranged lover, saying: "I think we'll be fine".

Paul Mescal, best-known as the star of 'Normal People', has another gig lined up.

The track itself, released on July 22, features Jimmy Page and Rick Grech, and will be included on the upcoming re-release of the 1973 Rolling Stones album Goats Head Soup.

According to reports, the actor will play a "rock "n" roll leading man" in the video.

Taking to their socials, The Rolling Stones wrote: "The official video for Scarlet featuring Paul Mescal will premiere this Thursday 7pm BST / 11am PST on the Rolling Stones YouTube Channel".

The video is described as a "love letter" to Scarlet and was directed by filmmaking duo USA with a socially distanced shoot at London's Claridge's Hotel.

It will be available from September 4.
