New COVID-19 Cases in Mason County

Any new confirmed cases from health departments throughout the state the rest of the day won't show up until at least the following day on the state list, as the official numbers are only updated once a day, with a 5 p.m. cutoff each day for new cases to be reflected on the next day's list. As of midday Tuesday, there are still 35 Lewisburg pen inmate cases, and an inmate and staff case among both Allenwood facilities.

That brings Luzerne County's total cases to 3,338; the death count remains at 183.

"Due to Mason County being a small community, location data of positive cases will not be released to reduce the possibility of patient identification and to protect personal health information".

There are 643 patients who have a positive serology test and either COVID-19 symptoms or a high-risk exposure, which are considered probable cases and not confirmed cases.

Montour has one new case at 94 overall and three deaths.

Allegheny County is reporting an increase of 68 cases and Philadelphia County is reporting an increase of 71 cases. 23 new deaths have also been confirmed and the state death toll is over 7,200.

The department is seeing significant increases in the number of COVID-19 cases among younger age groups, particularly 19 to 24-year-olds.

Mask-wearing is required in all businesses and whenever leaving home. They have 178 new negative test results. The Clark County hospitals are 53.7 percent full, with 3.8 percent of beds occupied by COVID-19 patients or suspected patients.

Caddo Parish in Northwest Louisiana added 155 cases for a total of 6,299, and Bossier Parish added 64 cases to reach 2,118, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.
