Xbox Insiders Getting Revamped Microsoft Stores Tomorrow

Microsoft claims that the new Xbox Store is twice as fast as the one now found on Xbox One consoles. The design language is consistent with the one found on the Xbox Game Bar and Xbox app for Windows 10, and the new Store should be easier to navigate with a left panel providing quick access to games, Movies & TV, hardware, your Wishlist, and your shopping cart.

A new Microsoft Store on Xbox is now in the works and is coming to select Xbox Insiders on August 5th, with a full rollout for all users planned this fall.

That's why it's no surprise that Microsoft's unveiling of yet another Xbox Store leads with the revelation that it's twice as fast as the current store.

What you're searching for will also be easier to find, while trailers will only autolplay if you turn the feature on and info will be displayed in an "at a glance" fashion. Microsoft has completely redesigned the console's navigation system to easily allow you to browse different sections.

Guided by your feedback, we rebuilt the Wish List. Users can now easily add games to their Wish List, keep tabs on their list's content and on sale pricing of items.

The updated shopping cart makes it easier to add items to your cart as well as view the items in your cart before and during purchase.

The search facility will better filter results, the shopping cart makes it easier to add items and continue browsing, and it'll also be much easier to shop across all four Xbox generations, from original Xbox titles to Xbox Series X games when they start to materialise later this year.

"There's also been a few changes to ensure the new Microsoft Store is safer for children". "Being signed in also helps you have a more personalized experience - you'll see content that is more relevant for you", explained Bird. With this update, we ensure that content rated beyond a user's content filter level does not appear anywhere in search or browse experiences. That means no more watching that annoying circular ticker thingy while you wait for pages to load.
