Trump told reporters he wants to slash Lyash's pay through an infrastructure bill now in Congress.

The TVA was created in 1933 to provide flood control, electricity generation, fertilizer manufacturing and economic development to the Tennessee Valley, a region that was hard hit by the Great Depression. TVA didn't immediately respond to a message seeking comment. Though its shares are owned by the federal government, TVA functions as a private company and does not receive taxpayer funding. The Department of Labour will have to finalise guidelines to prevent employers from moving H-1B workers to displace Americans workforce.

"(TVA) leadership then ordered the American workers to train their foreign replacements rubbing salt in their very open wound", Trump continued, adding that some of those TVA workers who trained their foreign replacements were with him in the Cabinet Room. According to TVA, 37 other workers found different jobs in the organization. Let this serve as a warning to any federally appointed board: If you betray American workers, you will hear two words: 'You're fired, ' Trump said.

The order will increase scrutiny of federal contractors' use of H-1B visas to bring in temporary foreign labor for high-skilled jobs rather than relying on American workers, according to an administration official, who asked for anonymity to discuss plans not yet public.

"In full disclosure, Mr. President, when we sat down with the Davis Agency constructing the ad, they said, 'Who's your audience?' And I said, 'Just one person'".

"All TVA employees are US based citizens".

"Accenture Federal Services, which is based in Arlington, Virginia, has a contract with the Tennessee Valley Authority and is performing in compliance with the contractual terms requiring that the work be performed in the usa", the company said in an emailed statement. and directed further inquires to TVA.

"As a federal corporation, TVA's Board members serve at the pleasure of the President. 'The only thing that we're recognizing about congressional Democrats right now is how appalling it is that Americans there are going without paychecks because they refuse to partner with" Republicans. "I don't make the decision", Trump said. With many companies now looking at offshoring for cost arbitrage and federal contracts not forming a significant part of United States revenues, IT firms are in a better place than before to handle such uncertainties.

On Monday Trump threatened to fire TVA CEO Jeff Lyash and other senior employees of the agency over the outsourcing.

President Donald Trump bragged that a new conservation he signed was the most impressive "since Teddy Roosevelt" at a bill signing, where he mispronounced the name of Yosemite National Park.

President Trump talked about the beauty of the national parks on Tuesday, ticking off the names of some of them but tripping over Yosemite, one of the best known, and badly mispronouncing it twice.
