Computers or Laptops lacking fundamental software are sometimes hard to sell.

Google is giving you an extra incentive to buy a Chromebook: a whole lot of cloud gaming that could make your laptop shine. Your Chromebook has to be a device launched after June of 2017.

Meanwhile, "Crowd Play", which was announced at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2019, is also now in testing phase. The promotion is available to eligible Chromebook owners in the United States (excluding Guam, Hawaii and U.S. Virgin Islands), Canada, United Kingdom, Germany and France. You can find the Stadia Pro perk and check your eligibility by following this link.

Stadia Pro is a $9.99 monthly subscription that lets you play new games at the start of - and increasingly half-way through - each month. A user may retain access to the previous games as long as they are a member. Some of the games include Gylt, Destiny 2: The Collection, PUBG, Superhot and Zombie Army 4: Dead War. This deal comes on the heels of Dropbox teaming up with Google to give Chromebook users 100GB of free storage for 12 months. As Stadia Pro is still in its development stage it is necessary for Google to advertise it properly for boosting its growth. This move serves another goal of Chrome OS adoption. Moreover, the service is potentially a good showcase for Chromebooks - even an entry-level machine can theoretically play the latest games almost as well as a premium model.
