On Friday, Scooter Braun, record executive and manager of clients like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, took to Instagram to defend DeGeneres, saying people "love to take shots". How quickly so many forget. Lea Thompson, as well, added her voice to the list. This directly goes against DeGeneres' mantra of telling people to "be kind" to one another, something she says at the end of every episode.

The US-based daytime hit talk show "The Ellen Show" has recently faced a series of allegations by staffers for its "toxic work environment" and instances of sexual misconduct, which, some reports claim, have caused show host Ellen DeGeneres to weigh shutting down the program. She has helped change the views for equality all around the country and the world. "But no way is she quitting the show". "She doesn't do what is popular she does what is right".

While Braun spoke fondly of DeGeneres, other celebrities did not. "It's all for show", one former staffer said.

In a letter to employees obtained by TheWrap, DeGeneres vowed to "correct the issues".

"Sorry but it comes from the top ⁦@TheEllenShow", Garrett, who has appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" several times, wrote on Friday. One insider has claimed Ellen would frequently hire Marty Singer to attack people who she felt had betrayed her or slighted her in any way.

There is speculation Ellen DeGeneres' replacement is already lined up, following reports the star is planning to call it quits.

He received more than 2,000 responses on the thread.

DeGeneres, who is not implicated in the bullying charges and is not an alleged victim of the sexual misconduct, apologised to the show's staff in a memo sent last week in which she said the accusations were "the opposite of what I believe and what I hoped for our show".

After interviewing dozens of current and former staffers about the work environment on the show, WarnerMedia released a statement that the company was "disappointed that the primary findings of the investigation indicated some deficiencies related to the show's day-to-day management".
