In the impassioned track, Smith and Burna Boy's distinctive, intertwining vocals tell an age-old tale: that of yearning for an unavailable partner.

"This track has been a attractive release of emotions for me during this time", says Smith.

28-year-old Sam revealed in March that they were pushing back the planned release of their third album and would be recording new material for it. The song follows "I'm Ready" featuring Demi Lovato and "To Die For", which was also the original title of the entire project.

With an extensive global following and several awards attached to his name, including the 2020 BET award for best worldwide act, Burna Boy hitting the studio with Sam should not come as much of a surprise.

"My feelings gettin' deeper, my mind is in a free fall, but there's nothing I can do when it comes to you", they sing in the pre-chorus. "But until then I am still going to bring out some new music over the next few months, which I'm incredibly excited about".

Sam Smith, an English singer and songwriter, has announced a new collaboration with Damini Ogulu, Nigerian singer better known as Burna Boy, for "My Oasis", a new single billed for release later today.
