New Saline County COVID-19 Cases

Twenty people are hospitalized for COVID-19 in Clark County, with 10 more people in the hospital awaiting test results.

Local health officials reported a dozen additional confirmed COVID-19 cases in Missoula County on Wednesday.

In Marshall County: Henry, six cases out of 324 tests.

According to the Saline County Health Department, with the new cases the total for the county is now 345, with 76 cases currently active. Gov. JB Pritzker said during a visit to Peoria on Thursday the region could see additional county-by-county restrictions unless the trends reverse soon.

There have been 1,029 Marshall County residents who have recovered from COVID-19 and 31,879 have recovered throughout the state. Public Health has confirmed 146 cases this week.

McKnight said contact tracing has shown an increase in the number of contacts for each active case since the state moved into Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois plan in late June.

Only slightly more men than women have been infected with 50 percent of the cases being male and 49 percent, female. A male in his teens, a male in his 20s, two females in their 30s, one male in his 40s, one male in his 50s, and a male and female in their 60s reportedly had no known contact with a positive case.

New cases in Eastern Collin County include one in Farmersville, one in Josephine, two in Murphy, three in Princeton and one in Wylie.

At least 857 Iowans have died from COVID-19.
