Vivo X50 Pro launches in India to take on the OnePlus 8

The Indian pricing for the Vivo X50 series has not been revealed yet. There is also a 48MP mode and a Pro mode on the X50 Pro.

While the Vivo TWS Neo earbuds are priced at ₹5,990, the Vivo X50 costs ₹34,990 for the 8GB+128GB model and ₹37,990 for the 8GB+256GB model.

The vivo X50 Pro is powered by a 4,315 mAh battery that draws power from a USB-C port at up to 33W. The Vivo X50 series has landed in India with a starting price of Rs. 34,990 (~$465). The smartphones are going to be powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor with up to 8GB RAM. Frost Blue and Glaze Black are its two color editions. Under the hood, the Vivo X50 and X50 Pro rock the 5G-enabled Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard.

The X50 Pro is offered in an Alpha Grey color and is priced at INR49,990 ($665/€580). Both the variants are now up for pre-order in India and will go on sale starting from 24th July, available across all major e-commerce and offline stores. Here is the snapshot of the sales offers for customers who wish to Vivo X50 duo. The new phones will be launched in India at 12PM through an online-only event that is expected to be live streamed on the company's YouTube channel as well as the Vivo India website. It comes in colors like Starry Blue and Moonlight Silver. The X50 has 159.5 x 75.4 x 7.5mm dimensions and 173 grams weight and the X50 Pro measures 158.5 x 72.8 x 8mm and it weighs 181.5 grams. The display also comes with HDR10+ certification and P3 wide color gamut support.

Both the X50 and X50 Pro feature a 6.56-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED curved display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 1080 x 2376 resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the software side of things, the X50 series phones run Android 10 with Vivo's Funtouch OS 10 on top. While the X50 packs a 4,200mAh battery, the X50 Pro has a slightly larger 4,315mAh battery.

The Android 10-based smartphone is backed by a 4315mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging tech.

The Vivo X50 and X50 Pro have 32-megapixel Samsung GD1 front-facing cameras.

The headline feature of the vivo V50 Pro is its camera system.

Since the gimbal camera is the highlight of the Vivo X50 Pro, we put it to work and even pitted it against one of the best cameras out there - the iPhone 11 Pro. There is a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.6 aperture, a 13-megapixel portrait camera with f/2.46 aperture, an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter with f/3.4 aperture, and an 8-megapixel macro camera with f/2.2 aperture. The standard Vivo X50 has a quad-camera setup on the back with a custom 48MP Sony IMX598 main sensor, an 8MP wide-angle snapper, 13MP portrait lens, and a 5MP macro camera. The 8MP telephoto unit comes with 5x optical zoom and promises up to 60x hybrid zoom. The vanilla model supports 20x digital zoom.

The Vivo X50 and X50 Pro are equipped with other features like dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and USB-C.
