But today, the Pixel 4a inadvertently showed up on Google's Canadian online store, effectively removing any doubt that the Pixel 4a is coming soon. Of course, due to the ongoing global pandemic, Google I/O was cancelled and the 4a has never been announced. Particularly of note is the Pixel 4a, which pretty much everyone can agree should have arrived by now had COVID not got in the way and ruined Google's assumed marketing plan.

The Pixel 4a's render is now featured on the store's top carousel in the first slide.

As you can see, this isn't the Pixel 4 or the 3a. You would think Google would want their new mid-range device to have some breathing space before they release their next flagship. A Cuban YouTuber recently got his hands on Pixel 4a, giving us insights into the camera performance of the upcoming Pixel smartphone.

There's no word yet on when the Pixel 4a will actually launch, but when it does the phone is expected to have specs like a 5.81-inch display, 12.2MP rear camera, Snapdragon 730 processor, 6GB of RAM, and a 3080mAh battery.

Originally, the Pixel 4a was expected to launch sometime in May - similar to the timing for last year's Pixel 3a. However, it seems the Pixel 4a's launch has been delayed multiple times, with the latest rumours claiming it will be officially announced on August 3.
