Actress Kelly Preston, John Travolta's wife, dies aged 57

Sharing an old photo of the two of them together, the Grease star wrote: 'Kelly Preston was a radiant, warm and gentle spirit - a loving, devoted wife, mother and sweet friend.

Josh Gad, Mariah Carey and Daniel Dae Kim led tributes to Kelly Preston following the actress' death on Sunday.

The post has received hundreds of thousands of response from fans. Her husband, actor John Travolta, released the following statement on Instagram... The sheer number and variety of people publicly mourning Kelly Preston is a testament to just how important she was to not just her family, but also her friends, the industry, and anyone she ever worked with.

People was first to report Preston's death. Then he stops and says hello.

He tweeted: "I was lucky enough to work with her on one of my very first films, "For Love of The Game".

Travolta and Preston met while filming 1988′s "The Experts". Thank you for your help and thank you for making this world a better place.

Actress Kelly won praise for her role in Miley Cyrus film, The Last Song. We experienced the cliques, the attempts to make the right decisions, how to keep our integrity.
