This new OnePlus smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 690 which is also 5G capable and it has been spotted on Geekbench with the name "OnePlus BE2028" not as OnePlus Nord, which raises the speculation when the first AR launch of the smartphone is headed in nearly 10 days.

Since OnePlus has been releasing a pair of devices for its recent launches, it is possible that this could end being the Nord Lite, or perhaps the higher-spec Snapdragon 765G version is marketed as the Nord Pro.

The OnePlus Nord is set for a July 21 announcement and with the date nearing we've been getting a lot of info on the upcoming phone, from both official channels and leaks alike. This new model has been listed on the benchmarking site with the model number "OnePlus BE2028".

The AC2003 model name was already seen in the GeekBench database over a month ago, and a handful more listings have popped up in the past couple of days. It features a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Kryo 560 CPU with clock speeds up to 2.0 GHz.

OnePlus will be unveiling its new Nord series next week that is expected to be priced under Dollars 500.

According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, this device is yet another OnePlus phone in the works, and one that will be powered by the Snapdragon 690.

That's confusing at the very least, so for the time being, we probably shouldn't consider the existence of a "OnePlus Nord Lite 5G" carved in stone. We're not sure whether the phone really exists, but seeing as how Nord is a series, the company is expected to launch more affordable models in the future.
