Now that Sunday's Ubisoft Forward has come to a close, Ubisoft has kicked off the open beta for its battle royale shooter, Hyper Scape. The PC beta introduces some additional game modes, a new Hack and weapon, and a backstory for the game. As the name suggests, there's no teams here, just 100 players all competing on their own to win. But if you can't wait, now's the time to check it out with the Hyper Scape open beta available now. To keep the populace of cramped mega-cities distracted and entertained, the virtual world "Hyper Scape" is created, offering citizens explosive multiplayer action and fast-paced adventure with the promise of fame and prizes. The launch was an enormous success, with Hyper Scape rising to the top of the Twitch charts that day.

An interactivity clarification flaunted how the game will incorporate Twitch votes to influence live games, and a designer update clarified how outfits added each season could highlight the progressing story. The game will support both solo and squad modes.

A date for the full launch of Hyper Scape hasn't been announced yet. Hacks grant offensive and defensive capabilities to suit all playstyles. Hack Runner Squad and Turbo Mode Squad mode will also be available to play.

You can also combine hacks or weapons by a process named fusion. Players can learn more about those modes on the Hyper Scape website.

After the show, we got to check out an entire match of Hyper Scape where you can see some active gameplay which you can check out here. Players have two different ways to claim victory, either by picking up and carrying the crown for 45 seconds or by being the last player or squad standing.
