YG Says Nicki Minaj Is ‘Canceled’ After 6ix9ine Collaboration

YG reportedly said that he would not be working with Nicki Minaj again after she collaborated with Tekashi 69.

YG shook his head in response to the question. "I'm a real street ni**a", he said before saying that Nicki was "canceled".

Minaj recently featured on 6ix9ine's record "Trollz" which landed atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart on its debut week.

While YG previously worked with Nicki for one of his biggest hits, "Big Bank", back in 2018, it appears they won't be working together again anytime soon.

The move by YG to disassociate himself from Minaj after the collaboration isn't surprising after the two rappers' previous feud. Last year, YG performed his song "Stop Snitching" at Coachella in front of a mugshot of the rapper, following 6ix9ine's arrest and reports that he was cooperating with prosecutors in exchange for a reduced sentence.

While Nicki has yet to respond to YG's comments, 6ix9ine didn't waste time trolling the "Konclusions" rapper's comments, writing on a Shade Room Instagram post: "Smh Damn Nicki u done messed up big time". "People be underestimating Kanye".

After receiving the news that Kanye had yet to file the paperwork to be a legitimate candidate, YG jokingly added that he would vote for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson also because he's his "childhood hero".
