Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Cancelled, No Part Five for Netflix Series

Their decision comes just days after another Archieverse series, Katy Keene, was axed by The CW following a thirteen-episode first season.

Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa revealed in a bittersweet statement to fans that Sabrina would be appearing one last time at the end of 2020. "I'm also grateful to our partners ... for letting us tell the story we wanted to tell, the way we wanted to tell it".

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been canceled by Netflix ahead of its fourth season, which will act as its finale when it premieres on the streaming giant later this year.

Despite the news of Chilling Adventures' cancellation, Shipka still urged her 7.2 million Instagram followers to tune in to the upcoming part four. Tonally in the vein of ROSEMARY'S BABY and THE EXORCIST, this adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature - half-witch, half-mortal - while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.

Another added: "Ngl I'm sad that the next season of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will be the last - but what a run it has had! We look forward that you will see the 4th part ". Fans of Sabrina are not taking the news too well, condemning Netflix for the choice to renew Riverdale instead of their favourite teenage witch. Producer Greg Berlanti is ending five of his twenty-three shows, including Ozark and Dead to Me. Also, the pilot episode of his show The Brides was passed over.

In Season 3, Sabrina travelled to Hell to rescue Nick from Lilith's (Michelle Gomez) clutches and joined the Baxter High cheerleading team.
